S. Korea Again Highlights Humanitarian Handling of N. Korean POWs

The South Korean presidential office has reaffirmed its dedication to the humanitarian treatment of North Korean prisoners of war (POWs). This statement comes in light of recent developments involving the transfer of two North Korean soldiers from Ukraine to South Korea.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced during a UN address that the two soldiers, captured in the ongoing conflict with Russia, were sent to South Korea.
