Krafton Unveils Five New Games, Led by PUBG Spin-Off, at Gamescom 2026

Krafton unveiled five new games at Gamescom 2026's Opening Night Live in Cologne, Germany, positioning the showcase as a statement of the Korean publisher's ambition to broaden its portfolio well beyond the PUBG franchise that built its fortune. The August 26 presentation gave global audiences their first extended look at trailers and gameplay footage for each title, ranging from a gritty new entry in the PUBG universe to a genre-bending action RPG.

Topping the lineup was PUBG: DED.NET, a multiplayer FPS spin-off set in a fictionalized 1996 version of the Cascadia region, drawing visual and cultural inspiration from the American Pacific Northwest of the 1990s. Krafton walked through character designs and core gunplay before introducing a roguelite progression system that persists across matches, then closed the reveal with fast-paced combat sequences built around clashing special abilities and playstyles.

Project ZETA, an online PvP title pitting three-person squads against each other in 12-player matches, centers on securing and extracting a contested objective called the Prism. Footage followed one squad defeating a boss to claim the Prism before rival teams ambushed them en route to extraction, turning the mission into a multi-team firefight where character abilities and coordination determine the outcome.

NO LAW, described as an open-world shooter RPG, introduced protagonist Grey Harker through the eyes of different townspeople who see the character in contrasting ways. The gameplay trailer emphasized player choice, showing how missions can be approached through stealth, hacking or direct combat depending on the player's preferred style.

TARAE: The Unbound made its global debut as an action RPG set in an East Asian-inspired dark fantasy world. The reveal trailer opened with narration from a mysterious figure named Agasa before shifting into combat footage highlighting sweeping area attacks and demanding boss encounters.

Rounding out the lineup, Age Twisters is a two-player cooperative adventure following a grandfather and granddaughter retracing the disappearance of the family's mother and daughter. The demonstration showed characters shifting between four life stages—child, youth, adult and elder—each with distinct abilities used to solve puzzles, alongside cooperative set pieces such as fights atop a moving train and object-morphing traversal challenges.

Krafton (KRX: 259960) said additional details on all five titles are available on its official Gamescom 2026 webpage, signaling that the Cologne showcase is an early step in a longer rollout for each project rather than a full unveiling of release plans.
