Netflix Confirms October 2026 Global Rollout for New K-Drama '100 Days of Deception'

Netflix has locked in a global streaming date for '100 Days of Deception,' a new Korean period thriller that will join the platform's expanding slate of weekly K-dramas. According to a report from What's on Netflix, the series is set to premiere on October 10, 2026, with episodes rolling out weekly on Saturdays and Sundays through a finale on November 29, 2026.

The show, previously known during production as '100 Days of Lies,' will first air domestically on South Korea's cable network TVN before becoming available to international audiences on Netflix, following a distribution pattern the streamer has used for several recent Korean hits. The series spans 16 episodes with runtimes of roughly 70 minutes each.

Directed by Yoo In Shik and written by Ryu Bo Ri, '100 Days of Deception' is billed as a romantic-action thriller set during the Japanese occupation of Korea. The story follows a gifted pickpocket who infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea as a spy while secretly working for the independence movement, initially pursuing her own agenda before becoming a genuine source of intelligence for the resistance.

The drama brings together a high-profile cast led by Kim You Jung, known internationally for Netflix titles including 'My Demon' and 'Chicken Nugget,' who takes on the lead role of Lee Ga Gyeong. She stars opposite Park Jin Young, previously seen in 'Our Unwritten Seoul,' who plays a character with a dual identity, Kim Tae Ung and Sato Hideo. Rounding out the principal cast are Kim Hyun Joo ('Hellbound'), Lee Moo Saeng ('As You Stood By'), and Jin Seon Kyu ('Vincenzo'), alongside supporting players Park Jung Yeon, Kim Do Hyun, and Kim Joong Hee.
