The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has recently announced a new round of certifications, recognizing the outstanding achievements of various K-pop groups.
NCT WISH's latest Japanese single album, "YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL," has been certified double platinum, marking over 500,000 units shipped in Japan. This milestone reflects the growing popularity of K-pop in the region.
In addition to NCT WISH, other groups such as TXT, ENHYPEN, and RIIZE have also received significant certifications. TXT's Japanese single album "Setsuna Hanabi" and ENHYPEN's mini album "THE SIN : BLISS" were certified platinum for exceeding 250,000 units shipped.
Furthermore, several other albums, including TWS's "SODA SODA" and NiziU's EP "GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU," also achieved platinum status. Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE's EP "KAIKILOVE" and LE SSERAFIM's album "PUREFLOW" pt.1 were certified gold, each surpassing 100,000 units.
These certifications not only highlight the success of these artists but also showcase the increasing influence of K-pop on the global music scene.
