K-Pop's Q3 2026 Calendar: BTS and (G)I-DLE Lead July, Red Velvet and Stray Kids Set for August

July delivered new music from BTS, (G)I-DLE, TVXQ's U-Know Yunho and soloist Hyolyn, while August is stacked with comebacks from Red Velvet, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN and NCT 127.

Among July's releases, (G)I-DLE returned with the mini album "We Made" on July 6, led by the track "Gimme Dat Love," continuing a steady run of comebacks for the group this year. The same day marked the debut of rookie act VAYONN under INKODE Entertainment, whose EP "Youth Today" is fronted by the single "MUAH!," adding a fresh name to an already crowded rookie class in 2026.

Later in the month, TVXQ's U-Know Yunho released his solo single "Time's Tickin'" on July 20, and Hyolyn followed two days later with her fourth mini album, "OriginaLyn," on July 22, extending a busy stretch of solo idol activity outside group promotions. Looking further ahead, the tracker flags several long-awaited returns still taking shape for later in the year: BIGBANG is teasing a new single, Taemin reportedly has multiple solo tracks in the pipeline, and Jackson Wang is preparing "Sex God," a collaboration with rapper Pusha T. None of the three has a locked-in release date yet, but their inclusion signals that Q3's momentum is expected to carry into comebacks from some of K-pop's most established names as the year progresses.
