Kia America sold 72,002 vehicles in the U.S. in November, its strongest ever showing for the month, keeping the brand on track for a third straight annual sales record.

Kia America closed November with its best-ever result for the month, delivering 72,002 vehicles in the United States and building on a year of steady momentum. The tally topped the 70,107 units the automaker sold in November 2024 and pushed year-to-date volume to 777,152 vehicles, up 7 percent from the same stretch a year earlier.

The performance all but locks in a third consecutive annual sales record for the brand. Executives credited a broad lineup and a rapidly expanding hybrid portfolio for the run, noting that electrified models, sedans and SUVs each grew year over year through November.

Three nameplates set fresh November records. The Carnival minivan surged 49 percent for the month, the Sportage compact SUV climbed 12 percent, and the Seltos rose 23 percent, underscoring the strength of Kia's utility offerings. Other gainers included the K5 sedan and the Telluride, the brand's largest SUV.

"As consumer demand shifts, Kia's diverse product lineup and growing hybrid portfolio has us on the verge of our third consecutive annual sales record," said Eric Watson, vice president of sales operations at Kia America.

The automaker used the milestone to spotlight coming products, including the next-generation 2027 Telluride unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The redesigned SUV offers more interior room, a turbocharged base engine and an available hybrid option rated at roughly 35 miles per gallon combined, with output of up to 329 horsepower.

Kia also pointed to progress on charging infrastructure through IONNA, its EV charging joint venture, which plans to invest more than $250 million across California over the next three years. Separately, the 2026 Sportage earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's Top Safety Pick+ rating, the group's highest recognition, for models built after May 2025.

The results reinforce Kia's steady climb in the competitive U.S. market and support parent Kia Corporation's push to sustain volume growth even as demand shifts toward hybrids and electrified powertrains.
