Jeong Yein to Take Over Ha Young's Role in 'The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call'

Jeong Yein, a member of the girl group Lovelyz, is set to take over the role of Cheon Jang Mi in the upcoming seasons of 'The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call.' This news comes amidst ongoing discussions regarding casting changes following Ha Young's departure from the series.

According to reports, the production team conducted auditions to fill the void left by Ha Young, who stepped down due to controversy surrounding her family's alleged pro-Japanese ties. Ultimately, Jeong Yein was selected for the role.

However, Jeong Yein's agency, SUBLIME, has denied these reports, stating, 'There have been no discussions regarding her appearance in 'The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call.' A representative from Netflix also mentioned that casting discussions are still ongoing and nothing has been confirmed yet.

'The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call' follows the story of genius trauma surgeon Baek Kang Hyuk, played by Ju Ji Hoon, as he leads a struggling Severe Trauma Care team. The drama features several key characters, including Yang Jae Won, Cheon Jang Mi, Han Yu Rim, and Park Gyeong Won.

With production for Seasons 2 and 3 set to begin next month, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on the casting and storyline developments.
