Krafton has successfully wrapped up its Betterground High School programme, showcasing innovative game projects from 17 teams across six countries.

Krafton has officially concluded its Betterground High School programme, which focused on nurturing young game developers from various countries. The final event, known as the 2026 Betterground Final, took place on September 18 at PUBG Seongsu in Seoul, featuring presentations from 66 participants representing 17 teams.

This year's showcase included teams from South Korea and several Asian countries, with students presenting a diverse range of games, including action, puzzle, simulation, horror, and educational titles. Each team had the opportunity to share their development processes, discuss challenges faced, and demonstrate their innovative solutions.

The Betterground programme, initiated in 2023, aims to empower high school students through game development education. It began with an online exploration course in April, followed by intensive mentoring sessions led by Krafton employees. The programme has seen participation from over 561 students, with 479 successfully completing the course.

Kim Tae-ryun, head of external cooperation at Krafton, emphasized the importance of developing both technical and social skills in students, stating, "We will continue support so that students can build not only technical skills but also social capabilities such as collaboration, communication, and problem-solving as they make games."
