HD Hyundai Marine Engine Lands KRW 40.5 Billion Engine Supply Deal with Daehan Shipbuilding

HD Hyundai Marine Engine Co., Ltd. has secured a new ship engine supply contract with Daehan Shipbuilding worth approximately KRW 40.48 billion, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing. The deal equals roughly 10.1 percent of the marine engine maker's most recent annual consolidated sales, underscoring its significance to the company's near-term revenue base.

Under the terms of the agreement, HD Hyundai Marine Engine will deliver engines for domestic vessels on a schedule running from August 2026 through June 2029. Payments are structured in stages — advance, interim, and final installments — tied to the progress of engine deliveries, a common arrangement for large-scale shipbuilding supply contracts in Korea.
