FM Cho Calls for Stronger S. Korea-China-Japan Cooperation

South Korea's Foreign Minister, Cho Hyun, has urged for enhanced cooperation among South Korea, China, and Japan to foster peace and prosperity in the region.

During a meeting with Tatsushi Nishioka, the newly appointed secretary-general of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), Cho highlighted the importance of mutual collaboration to address shared challenges.

The TCS, established in 2011, aims to facilitate dialogue and cooperation among the three nations, focusing on people-to-people exchanges and joint initiatives.

Cho expressed the South Korean government's commitment to playing an active role in promoting dialogue and finding common ground among the countries. He also called on the TCS to serve as a vital communication platform.

The TCS officials acknowledged South Korea's support and pledged to strengthen trilateral cooperation through various programs and initiatives.
